  7. Help for Renters The “Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act”, provides most renters with certain rights during foreclosure, namely, that most leases will survive foreclosure and the foreclosure sale purchaser becomes the new landlord.

  8. Eastside Community Development Corporation provides certified Housing Counselors to assist people with access to all available foreclosure prevention programs free of charge.

  9. We Are Family Community Development Corporation offers foreclosure prevention services as well as emergency food and emergency financial assistance to people facing an eviction or utility turnoff. Call 410-922-9621.

  12. Legal Aid Bureau, Inc., Baltimore County Office helps low income and other eligible people with mortgage foreclosure counseling and representation programs.
